Harbour Lights
Beneath the Table Mountain's shadow, the harbour lights begin to bloom, and strings of gold on dark water spill their warmth across the room of the sea. Your glance meets mine across the glass, where two small lights are caught and held, as if the bay had sent them here to tell me what our silence meant. The wind carries a distant song, the boats sway softly at their moorings, and every ripple seems to whisper the name we have not said aloud. So let the city glitter on, let the stars climb slowly into view, for I have found my harbour here, in the reflected light of you.
Where the Mountain Keeps Our Secret
The sun slips low behind the peak, and Table Mountain drapes in blue, its flat crown hushed, the clouds grown sleek like silk that lovers hold on to. Beneath its silhouette we stand, the harbour lights begin to glow, and every word we hold in hand is one the city will not know. The Atlantic hums its quiet song, the cable car sways out of sight, and here, where all the world belongs to no one, we belong tonight. So let the mountain keep our tale, its stony shoulders strong and wide, while Cape Town's evening breezes sail across the secret we confide.
Stars Over Table Bay
Beneath the Cape Town sky so wide, where Table Mountain keeps its guard, we drift like tides on ocean's side, and every heartbeat plays its part. The Southern Cross lights up our way, the harbor hums its evening song, and in your eyes the night grows bright, where two hearts dance the whole night long. The ocean breathes a silver hush, the wind carries salt and sea, and as we turn in gentle rush, the stars themselves seem drawn to me. So let the constellations spin, let dawn wait just a little more, for here beneath the stars we begin, and Cape Town holds us to its shore.

Dusk Over Table Bay
The mountain drapes its shawl of gold, and Table Bay grows still and bold. We walk the promenade, hand in hand, while gulls drift lazy over sand. The lamps awake along the shore, and silhouettes begin to pour into the dance the evening plays, a waltz of shadow, sweet and gaze. Your outline bends against the light, my own mirrors yours in flight; the ocean hums its ancient tune, and stars are pinned to the Cape's dark moon. So let the dusk linger, slow and wide, while we keep dancing, side by side.
Waterfront Hands
Beneath the lanterns strung along the quay, the harbour hums its slow, unhurried tune, and Table Mountain wears its cloud-cloak gray as stars come out to light the bay of June. Your fingers find my own across the cloth, warm as the wine that catches candle-glow, and every word we speak is soft as broth simmered for hours, sweet and, slow, and slow. The fishing boats rock gently at their moor, the gulls grow quiet, settling for the night, and still your hand is holding mine, sure that nothing else could feel so simply right. So let the evening linger, let it stay, the Cape wind hushing all the world away.
Cape Doctor's Kiss
The mountain holds its breath at dusk, the table cloth of cloud laid low, and down the slopes the Cape Doctor comes, its restless fingers loosed to blow. It finds your hair and lifts it free, then weaves it through with mine, so that we stand a single knot of salt and wind and wine. Below us, Sea Point lights unfold like sequins on the bay, and every gust that tugs our hearts forgets to pass away. So let the southeaster tangle us, let it braid our hands and sighs, for love is just this sweet disorder under Cape Town's evening skies.
