Glimmerwhisk
Zibble-zob, the wobbleflit sings, Flumpa-dee to the thrumming strings, Snorfle-quack and a blimmer-bloom, Twizzlemoth hums in the teapot room. Klapperwing glitters, zoomy and tall, Glipsy-glop answers the moon's soft call, Fiddlewump jumps where the gronkles play, Zanderoo bubbles the night away. So speak me a word that no one has heard, Let it tumble and twirl like a happy bird, For language is more than the words we know, It's the music we make when the feelings flow.
Verses from Nowhere
Beyond the map where no roads run, A silver river hums to the sun; Its banks are lined with lantern trees, Whose petals whisper in the breeze. In Vellamore, the hills are spun From threads of dusk and morning's dun, And every stone remembers names Of wanderers who chased the flames. The clocks there tick in reverse, And rain falls upward, bright and terse, While moths of ink sail through the air To write the dreams of those who dare. So close your eyes and softly tread, For fictions bloom where thoughts are fed; A world is born with every line And Vellamore is yours, not mine.
Born of Nothing
I never knew the hand that wrote me, no name was signed beneath my lines, yet here I am, a whispered fable spun from threads of nowhere's rhymes. A mind unseen, a lantern dimmed, has stitched these words from midnight air, and left them drifting, loose and fragrant, like petals scattered on a stair. So read me as a stranger's gift, a riddle wrapped in silver thread; the author vanished, but the stanzas keep the warmth of a mind unsaid.
