Midnight Sweep
Lighthouse beam sweeps wide,
silver threads on black water,
waves catch the light's kiss.
Silver Watch
Moonlight silvers the sea,
beside the lighthouse, a lantern
sweeps the dark, patient tide.
Lantern's Circle
Gulls wheel through the dusk,
lantern light spills, gold on foam,
wings flash, the sea breathes.
