Blooming in Hard Soil
The winter tested every root we had, with frost that cut and storms that tore, yet somewhere deep, beneath the strain, our love kept reaching for the door. We argued through the bitter nights, when silence felt like stone between, but still I found your hand in mine, the bloom that rose from what had been. This ground is rough, I will not lie, the stones are sharp, the seasons cruel, yet love like yours can break the rock and grow where only hardship's rule. So here's my promise, plain and true: through drought and dust and fractured days, I'll love you still, with open hands, unconditional in every phase.
Deeper Roots
When winter bends the branches low, and frost has stolen all our green, I know the root holds fast below, where storms cannot reach what's seen. We've weathered gales that tore at us, and nights when silence cut like steel, yet every trial, every fuss, has pressed us deeper, made us real. So here's my vow, through rain and drought, through seasons harsh and skies gone gray: my love for you will not go out, it grows the more we've come to stay. Despite the challenges we bear, I love you wholly, without end, for hard seasons only deepen where our roots reach down, and hold, and mend.
Through Every Storm
The winter came and stripped the trees, the roads ran rough beneath our feet, we argued in the bitter cold and wondered if our hearts would meet. But still I find you in the dark, a lantern burning, steady, true, the quarrels fade, the wounds grow soft, and I still choose the vow I drew. So let the thunder shake the sky, let doubt arrive like sudden rain, my love for you will stand its ground and rise again, and rise again.
