Sprite Trails
Across the map at breakneck speed,
A builder sprints through storm and need.
Behind him, sprite trails softly gleam,
Like comet dust in a chasing dream.
The walls rise up in wood and stone,
Each ramp a bridge he's built alone.
The glowing wake that marks his race
Is drawn in light across the space.
He dodges fire, he climbs and turns,
And through the chaos, brightness burns,
A trail of stars that fades to blue,
The proof of every move he's through.
The Lighthouse Sprite
Beneath the rusted beacon's cracked glass eye,
where storm-lashed pixels blink and fade,
a sprite drifts through the silent sky,
her light a ghost the ocean made.
No players climb the spiral stair,
no victory royales echo here;
she hums a tune of empty air
to waves that rise but never near.
She traces circuits in the sand,
replays the storms of seasons gone,
and waits with lantern in her hand
for lost recruits who never come.
Yet when the midnight servers sigh,
and fog rolls thick across the bay,
she turns her glow toward the sky
and guides the lost to nowhere's day.
Victory Glow
Above the storm the bus flies low,
the final circle starts to glow,
and neon sprites begin to dance
across the ruins of the chance.
They spin in trails of violet light,
the battle hum now fades from sight,
while footsteps echo, quiet, far,
as one bright sprite becomes a star.
The last player falls, the screen goes still,
a rainbow flickers on the hill,
and every sprite in shimmering gold
performs the victory I was told.
So here I stand, the crown is mine,
the neon dancers, bright as wine,
and Victory Royale fills the air
with sprites that glow beyond compare.
