Zak Learns to Fetch
Young Izzy tossed a ball with cheer,
And Zak, her puppy, pricked up his ear.
He bounded with glee,
But forgot to be free,
And dropped it right back at her here!
She showed him the trick, step by step,
A throw, a bark, a wag, a leap.
He grabbed it at last,
His tail held fast,
And trotted back proud, nose in a heap!
Zak's Muddy Trail
Young Izzy's puppy, sweet Zak,
Left muddy paw prints on her track.
Across the tiles he would prance,
With a wag and a glance,
Now the kitchen's a sight to fetch back.
Zak's Nap
Young Izzy's puppy, Zak, found a spot,
By her bedside, a cozy knot.
He curled up so tight,
In the pale morning light,
And dreamed of the games they forgot.
