Whispers in the Fog
In twilight's shroud, where shadows creep, A witch’s spell in silence deep. The fog rolls in, both thick and sly, With whispered charms, it drifts on by. A raven caws, the night grows cold, The secrets of the dark unfold. Beware, dear child, where spirits play, In foggy veils, they hunt their prey. A flickering light, a shadowy form, Her cauldron brews, the air turns warm. With every breath, the danger grows, For in the mist, the witch still knows.
The Stirrings of Fear
In shadows deep where nightmares tread, A creature stirs beneath my bed. With claws that scratch and breath that sighs, It whispers tales in darkness’ guise. Its eyes aglow, a haunting light, It waits to creep in dead of night. I hide my head, pretend to sleep, Yet fears like thorns in heart do seep. Oh, monster mine, with breath so foul, What deeds are yours, with snickers growl? A phantom thought in childish dread, I summon courage—face my bed. But when the dawn chases shadows away, The monster fades, in bright sun's ray. Yet still at night, I hold my breath, For every dream could dance with death.
Whispers in the Hall
In the shadows where flickers play, Whispers echo, they twist and sway. Footsteps creep on the old, worn wood, A shiver runs, could it be good? Walls are cloaked in silence thick, Every sound, a haunting trick. Eyes unseen, but I feel the stare, As ghostly hands brush through the air. Lingering breaths of tales untold, Of forgotten times, and hearts so bold. In the dark, where secrets creep, The hallway breathes; it will not sleep. So gather close, with courage near, For every whisper, the end draws near. Through shadows deep, let bravery spark, And face the whispers in the dark.
