Pumpkin Grins
In the night, a pumpkin grins,
Teeth like knives, where mischief spins.
With candlelight, they dance and flick,
A spooky jest, a shadowed trick.
Underneath the harvest moon,
Laughter echoes, a playful tune.
But beware the grin that’s sharp and bright,
For in its laughter, lurks delight!
Midnight Tickles
In the hush of night where shadows creep,
A giggle awakens from slumber's deep.
Beneath my bed, what could it be?
A phantom with fingers, just waiting for me!
Tickles at midnight, a playful fright,
With whispers of mischief that dance in the light.
I shiver and giggle, both scared and amused,
As shadows conspire, I'm thoroughly bruised!
But if laughter can conquer this eerie charade,
I'll face the tickles, unfurl my barricade.
For what's under the bed, I shall bravely confront,
A giggling specter who loves to play blunt!
Moonlit Tag
Under the silver, shimm'ring glow,
A ghost in white, not moving slow.
With wispy giggles, it darts and drags,
Playing a game of night-time tags.
In shadows deep, my heartbeats race,
Can I catch it? Oh, what a chase!
It laughs and twirls, a spectral sight,
As I stumble on in the pale moonlight.
‘Round the tombstones, I skip and skip,
The ghost, it turns, with a playful flip.
But as I leap for one last snag,
It vanishes quick, with a cheeky wag!
So now each night, beneath the stars,
I search for whispers, the laughter from afar.
In dreams I chase, but alas, I lag—
That cheeky ghost plays eternal tag!
