Whispers of the Waiting
Worn benches cradle tales untold, Silent laughter, in memories bold. Ghosts of travelers, dreams take flight, In shadows where day meets the night. Rustling papers, footsteps abound, Echoes of life in this still, sacred ground. Each splintered plank, a voice from the past, A symphony of stories, forever cast. Time ticks gently, as moments convene, A pause shared amongst the unseen. Amidst the chaos, a sanctuary stands, Worn benches cradle lives, like open hands.
Whispers of the Rails
Iron beasts cut through the night, With every rattle, echoes ignite. Silent tales on steel and stone, In hidden corners, sorrow’s grown. Through tunnels dark and valleys wide, The ghosts of travelers still abide. A wistful note in steel wheels' song, Each whistle a memory, forgotten but strong. Old conductor dreams in faded light, As the tracks weave paths of pure delight. Journey's end, yet journeys renew, On the railhead, stories still hold true.
