Tides of the Red River
In the cradle of willow, where whispers entwine,
The Red River wanders, a pathway divine.
Through valleys of laughter, past shadows of pain,
Life ebbs and it flows, like the soft summer rain.
With each bend in the journey, the waters unfold,
Stories of heartache, of treasures retold.
It carries our dreams on its undulating glide,
A tapestry woven with love as our guide.
As we drift with the current, through seasons we sail,
Embracing the sunlight and weathering hail.
For the journey is painted with colors so bright,
In the arms of the river, we find our true light.
Banks of Color
By the gentle Red River's flow,
Where water whispers soft and low,
Wildflowers dance in joyful grace,
Their colors weave in nature's lace.
Scarlet poppies, golds, and blues,
Each petal steeped in morning dews,
They lean toward sun's warm embrace,
A vibrant tapestry in this place.
The river sings, the breezes play,
While blooms greet dawn's first light of day,
A fleeting kiss of springtime's breath,
In wildflower's bloom, we conquer death.
