Whispers of the Iron Rails
Old trains whistle through the night,
Their echoes dance in silver light,
Tracks that tell of tales long past,
Of lovers lost, and journeys vast.
The steam rises like a ghostly plume,
In the stillness, they resume,
A rumble deep, a thrill alive,
As iron horses strive to drive.
Through valleys wide where shadows creep,
They carry memories that never sleep,
To distant towns where time stands still,
With every mile they bend the will.
In the distance, a whistle's call,
A haunting song that binds us all,
Old trains whistle, and hearts ignite,
As dreams are born beneath the night.
Whispers by the Fire
In the hush of dusk’s embrace,
Campfire’s glow, a sacred space,
Melodies weave through the pines,
Each note a story, each chord entwines.
Colter’s voice, a rugged balm,
Soothes the night with whispered calm,
Ghosts of cowboys in shadows play,
Their songs linger as stars hold sway.
Underneath the vast, dark expanse,
We find ourselves in a timeless dance,
The flames flicker, tales softly trace,
In silence, heartbeats find their place.
