Whispers of the Night Sky
In the velvet dark, the stars blink slow,
Each a secret, a farewell that lingers,
Unspoken goodbyes swirl in the cool air,
Like ghosts dancing softly on shadows' edge.
The moon, a quiet sentinel, watches over,
Glimmers of memories scattered like stardust,
While echoes of laughter fade into dusk,
And silhouettes of love trace the horizon.
Here under the infinite canvas,
Grief wraps its arms around silence,
An unthreaded tapestry of what once was,
Shimmering softly, yet heavy with loss.
In this celestial expanse, we breathe,
Finding solace among the constellations,
A reminder that even in farewell,
The light of the departed still flickers on.
Echoes in the Breeze
A gentle breeze whispers,
carrying scents of yesteryears,
where laughter danced in sunlight,
now echoes softened by time.
Fingers brush against memories,
the sweet perfume of lost moments,
a fleeting warmth in the chill,
like shadows that fade with the light.
Each breath a whisper of longing,
each sigh a tender farewell,
for in the drift of cooler winds,
lie stories of hearts once intertwined.
Yet, in the corners of silence,
a fragrance of love still lingers,
a reminder of what was cherished,
a balm for the ache of absence.
