Flickers of Hope
In valleys where the echoes dwell, Beneath the weight of tales to tell, Chief Joseph weaves through shadowed night, Promises broken, yet hope still flickers bright. With every dawn that paints the sky, A spirit rises, unable to die, Though fences rise and rivers bend, The heart remembers, it will not end. For in the ashes of what was lost, A flame emerges, no matter the cost, In whispered winds and starlit dreams, Hope dances softly, or so it seems. So let the past be but a thread, In fabric woven, where dreams are fed, Though promises fade, like stars in flight, In the soul of a warrior, hope still ignites.
Whispers of the Wind
In hush of dusk, the winds do speak, Of tales where hearts, though weary, seek. Chief Joseph's strength, in legends soared, Through valleys deep, his spirit roared. The mountains stood, as watchers proud, While he embraced the restless crowd. Resilience carved in every stride, A legacy no storm could hide. The wind, a voice of tribe and kin, Carries their stories, soft yet thin. Through leaves that dance and rivers that flow, The strength of his people continues to grow.
