Gallop of the Dusty Rodeo
In Calgary's heart where the wild winds play, Horses gallop fierce, in the bright light of day. Dust clouds swirl high, like a soft, golden sigh, As cowboys and courage ignite in the sky. Their hooves pound the earth, in a thunderous roar, Each stride tells a tale of the wild ones of yore. With manes flowing free, and spirits untamed, They dance through the dust, forever unclaimed. At dusk, when the rodeo lights start to gleam, The essence of freedom awakens a dream. In the pulse of the crowd, and the cries of delight, The gallop of horses paints days into night.
Boots of the Brave
Faithful boots on muddy ground, Where laughter's echoes dance around. In Calgary’s heart, the cowboys stand, With grit and spirit, hand in hand. Through wild rides and roping ties, The thunder of hooves, beneath the skies. Amid the dust, the spirit free, In every heart, a memory. The rodeo calls, with a thunderous cheer, With faithful boots, we persevere. In the muck and mire, where stories bloom, The Stampede beats, dispelling gloom.
