Faded Frames
In dusty frames where shadows dwell,
Our laughter echoes, a distant bell.
Faded photographs, time's cruel kiss,
Moments in sepia, a once vibrant bliss.
Hands that once touched, now drift apart,
Ghosts of affection, stitched in the heart.
Eyes that would sparkle, now hold the gray,
Memories linger, but love fades away.
Yet in those fragments, a bittersweet trace,
Whispers of love that time won't erase.
Though fading, the essence will softly reside,
In a tapestry woven where love used to glide.
Whispers of the Forgotten
In the hush of morning’s glow,
Memories linger, soft and slow,
Fading love, like mist unspooled,
Drifts through hearts that once were ruled.
Ghostly echoes of laughter shared,
Haunting shadows, tenderly bared,
Time’s cruel fingers gently tease,
Dissolving dreams with fragile ease.
Once bright colors, now dulled and gray,
Embers of passion softly sway,
What was fervent, now feels withdrawn,
As day breaks forth, love’s dusk is gone.
