Whispers in Shadow
In twilight's gentle fold, they stretch and bend, Elongated figures, where truths descend. Secrets murmured in the evening's glow, Silhouettes dancing, what do they know? Faded whispers drape upon the ground, Lengthened shadows where mysteries abound. A lover's quarrel, a child's delight, Life's hidden tales unfold in the night. Once in the hush, when the world felt shy, Shadows exchanged what they dared not imply. In every gesture, in every sigh, The stories of souls beneath the sky. So pause and ponder as dusk unfurls, In longer shadows, the heart whirls. For in the darkness, true echoes reside, A tapestry woven, where secrets abide.
Whispers on the Pavement
Shadows dance on pavement's edge, A ballet woven in the dusk, Cloaked in whispers, soft and pledge, Their forms in twilight gently husk. Luminous tales begin to wane, As the sun dips low—retreating light, They stretch and twine, an elegant chain, In fading hues, they take to flight. Footsteps trace the silent ground, While silhouettes in rhythm sway, Echoes of the day unbound, In twilight's arms, they gently play. Each shadow tells a fleeting tale, Of moments caught in amber glow, A dance of dreams in night’s soft veils, Where whispers linger, ebb, and flow.
