In golden waves, the tall grass sways,
A Jack Russell darts, in joyful play.
With boundless energy, a spirited dance,
He leaps through the green, a wild prance.
Tail a-flutter, eyes bright with cheer,
Each bound a story, each leap sincere.
The sun kisses fur as he springs and glides,
An artist of motion, where freedom abides.
With every white flash against leafy back,
The world keeps spinning, but he finds no lack.
For in this moment, pure joy is amassed,
A heart set free, as he leaps through the grass.
Dreams of a Jack Russell
In the amber glow of the evening light,
A Jack Russell curls, snug and tight.
Paws that raced through the fields, now still,
Whiskered dreams dance, a gentle thrill.
From playful barks to leaps in the air,
Today’s adventures, they linger, they care.
Scent of fresh grass, a chase in the sun,

With twitching nose and a soft little sigh,
