Treasures in the Attic
In the attic, shadows play,
Where whispers of the past softly sway.
Dusted dreams on wooden beams,
Hidden stories, forgotten themes.
Trunks that sigh, their secrets keep,
Old letters sewn with wishes deep.
A child's laughter, long since flown,
In every corner, memories grown.
Faded photographs, a time-worn frame,
Echoes of lives, yet they still remain.
Among the cobwebs, the heart can see,
The elegance of what used to be.
So climb the stairs, let the light pour through,
In attic treasures, find the new.
For every dust mote in the air,
Is a dream awaiting, beyond compare.
Whispers of the Walls
In the cradle of walls where secrets dwell,
Echoes of laughter, and shadows that fell.
Painted in colors that once caught the light,
Stories of ages wrapped warm, holding tight.
Cracks in the plaster, like wrinkles of time,
Each creak of the floorboard, a rhythm, a rhyme.
A whisper of love in the soft, glowing night,
The home breathes memories, both tender and bright.
Windows like eyes that have witnessed it all,
The rise of the sunrise, the soft evening's call.
In every small corner, in every old seam,
The walls weave a tapestry, life weaves a dream.
