Thoughts Beneath the Sky
In a world where thoughts can roam,
Veronica strays, far from home,
Awkward emu, with feathers askew,
Lost in a dream beneath skies so blue.
She wanders the fields, her mind in a swirl,
Chasing the whispers of each gentle twirl,
The clouds drift like ships on a vast, azure sea,
While she ponders the wonders of who she might be.
With each clumsy step, she embraces her fate,
In a dance with the breeze, she finds her true state,
For even if awkward, in all of her ways,
Veronica shines under the sun's golden rays.
Veronica's Dance
In the meadow, under sun's glow,
Veronica twirls, time moves slow,
With legs like storks, so tall and lean,
An emu's grace, an awkward scene.
Her long wings flap in a curious way,
A jumbled ballet, a comical sway,
She leaps and hops, her rhythm askew,
A dance of delight, both odd and true.
The grass bends low, her audience cheers,
For in her dance, she conquers fears,
Each step a mishap, yet bold and bright,
Veronica's joy, a captivating sight.
