Pedro's Peculiar Perfume
In a corner of the alley, oh so narrow and tight,
Lives Pedro the rat, with an aroma of fright.
Neighbors complain with their noses up high,
'Oh, what a stench! Can't they just let him fly?'
His fur is a patchwork of hope and despair,
But no one can love him when he's filling the air.
Yet Pedro, undaunted, scurries with glee,
For he knows in his heart, he's as sweet as can be.
With each little nibble, and each tiny leap,
Pedro just dreams while the neighbors all weep.
For beneath all the odors that they can't ignore,
Lies a spirit so warm, they can't help but adore.
Pedro's Moonlit Mischief
Under the silver glow so bright,
Pedro the Rat dances in the night.
With whiskers twitching, eyes agleam,
He scurries forth, a wild little dream.
Through shadows deep and alleys wide,
In the moonlight's glow, he takes his stride.
A whiff of cheese, a flash of fur,
In every corner, squeaks and purrs.
He climbs the walls, he leaps with glee,
A stinky rat, oh wild and free!
Chasing stars and mischief's call,
On moonlit nights, he conquers all.
As dawn approaches, he scurries home,
A pint-sized hero, forever to roam.
In the warmth of dreams, he'll curl up tight,
Until the next wild moonlit night.
