Dusk's Lullaby
Whispers of the tides at dusk, Where sea meets sky in twilight's husk. The ocean breathes a softer song, As clouds gather, where dreams belong. Lighthouses blink their warm embrace, Guiding hearts in this tranquil space. Waves weave tales of love and lore, On the cobbled shores where shadows pour. The salt-kissed air, a gentle balm, Wraps the world in a tranquil calm. As day concedes to night’s sweet sway, The Maritimes hold dusk at bay.
Tempest Over Tides
Stormy skies, the heavens roar, Atlantic's waves lash the rocky shore, Whispers of wind in a wild ballet, Nature's fury on display. Clouds like giants, dark and bold, Stories of sailors, ancient and told, Thunder crackles, an echoing cry, While seagulls circle, spiraling high. Salt and spray in a fierce embrace, The ocean's heart, a restless place, Yet in the tempest, beauty lies, In Canadian Maritimes, 'neath stormy skies.
