Fleeting Sands
In a sandbox where dreams lay still,
Grains of sand, a gentle thrill.
Fingers grasp at golden threads,
But moments fade like whispered spreads.
Each particle a fleeting sigh,
Slips away, too quick to tie.
Boring echoes of a child’s land,
Life's adventures slip through our hands.
Dull Horizons
Beneath the bland, unyielding light,
The brown horizon draped in night,
Where whispers of the sun grow weak,
And dullness rules the silence bleak.
A canvas worn, the colors fade,
A washed-out world where dreams invade,
The sky, a dull muted blue,
Reflects the heart that wanders too.
Yet in this monotone expanse,
The sand holds stories, lost in chance,
For in the gray, the spark can grow,
In boring places, magic flows.
