Echoes of Strength
In sinew tight and marrow deep,
Muscles hum where shadows creep,
Whispers of weight from days gone by,
Each lift, each strain, a silent sigh.
They hold the tales of toil and tears,
The weight of dreams, the weight of fears,
In every ache, a story sewn,
The burdens borne, yet strength has grown.
Memories etched in brawn and bone,
Lessons learned, but never alone,
With every push, the past unfurls,
My body sings of a thousand worlds.
Embracing the Softness
In the dawn of wrinkles, wisdom grows,
With laughter lines that bloom like rose.
A tapestry woven with stories untold,
Each thread a memory, bright and bold.
A gentle softening, like dusk in the sky,
Not a fading echo, but a sweet goodbye
To youth's swift currents, wild and fleet,
In this new rhythm, my heart finds its beat.
The skin may sag, but the spirit takes flight,
In every curve, there’s beauty and light.
A dance with the years, a soft embrace,
In aging, I find a more tender grace.
