Heroes of the Haze
In the glow of embered skies, Where shadows linger, orange lies, From swirling ash, a silence breaks, Brave spirits rise, the ground quakes. With masks of hope and hearts of flame, They venture forth, they stake their claim, Through smoke and fear, they guide the way, Heroes emerge, come what may. Against the blaze, they stand as one, In the darkest hour, to shield the sun, With every step, they fight the dread, For every life and every shred. So when the winds begin to calm, And nature weeps with a healing balm, We'll tell the tales of those who came, To halt the fire and spark the flame.
Embers in the Wind
In the heart of summer's blaze, Where dry winds dance with whispered dread, Nature's fury, a wildfire's gaze, Unleashes flames where shadows wed. The city sleeps in ashen hues, While hope flickers in the smoke-swirled night, Each spark a story—a life to lose, Yet through the chaos, we crave the light. For from the embers, new dreams grow, In earth's embrace, a dance begins, A cycle spun, a tale of woe, Yet life emerges, though scorched within.
