The Thunderous Tread
In peaceful halls where silence weaves, The echoes of my thoughts reprieve, Yet then he comes with heavy feet, A storm unleashed, disruption sweet. Each clatter breaks the tranquil air, A rhythmic dance, too bold, too rare, He strides like thunder, loud and proud, A symphony that draws a crowd. Oh brother, can’t you tiptoe light? Or let me dream in soft delight? But still, amidst the noise, I find, A laughter blooms, sweet and kind.
Teasing at the Table
At dinner time, where peace should reign, My brother lurks with a cheeky grin. He stirs the pot, ignites the flame, With teasing jabs, let the games begin. "You’ve got spinach stuck right there!" He points and laughs, I roll my eyes. With every bite, a childish dare, To turn my meal into a prize. He mocks my taste, my style, my choice, A never-ending, playful fight. Yet in his laughter, I hear a voice, A bond that sparks through every bite. For all his quips that pierce and sting, Deep down I know he means it all. Through every tease, our hearts will cling, In brotherhood, we rise and fall.
