Charmed by Shadows
In shadows deep, where legends dwell, Doc Holliday whispers, knows too well. A gambler's grace with a heart laid bare, Defying death, he dances with flair. With every card, a tale unfolds, Of bravado bright 'neath the moonlit gold. A spirit fierce, neither waning nor meek, In odds and fate, it's life he seeks. Charmed by the brink, where danger's sweet, He walks a line, on death's own street. With laughter low and a piercing glance, He revels still in the devil's dance. So raise a glass to the reckless and bold, To Doc Holliday's heart, defiant and cold. For in the face of the grave's cruel jest, He lived and he fought, never laid to rest.
Gambler's Smoke
In a haze of smoke and whispered thrill, Doc Holliday stood, a man of skill. With cards in hand, his laughter bright, A gambler's wit, a deadly night. His eyes, sharp as a gambler’s knife, Cut through the bluff, the pulse of life. In smoky rooms where shadows play, He danced with fate, come what may. He’d wager souls for a glimpse of gold, In poker’s grip, stories unfold. Each bluff a sonnet, each game a tale, A legend written on the winds of ale. So raise a glass to the games we weave, In smoky rooms where few believe. For Doc Holliday, with fate entwined, Wrote verses of fortune, bold and blind.
