Dusk's Gentle Touch
As daylight whispers its soft goodbye, The sky draws close, a canvas gray, Where raindrops dance, like the sun's shy sigh, In summer's embrace, they twirl and sway. A cool breath wraps the fading light, With fragrant earth in every gleam, Each droplet's kiss, a sweet delight, A serenade to twilight's dream. The leaves shimmer, in whispered tones, While shadows stretch on softened ground, And in the hush, where calm enthrones, The world finds peace, as night is found.
Chorus of the Evening
Beneath the twilight's gentle glow, Crickets sing as breezes flow, Each note a whisper, soft and light, In harmony with the fading night. Summer rain begins to weave, A silken quilt on leaves that grieve, Drops like diamonds fall and dance, A fleeting moment, a sweet romance. The sun dips low, a golden sphere, As shadows lengthen, drawing near, In this embrace of dusk and dew, Nature's symphony calls to you. So listen keen, the world unwinds, In raindrops’ song, our hearts entwined, Of summer's end and night's sweet claim, In cricket's chorus, we find our name.
