Golden Horizon
Beneath the vast expanse, where whispers roam, The Rio Grande stretches, carving stone with foam. Sunset spills its palette, a molten embrace, As shadows dance softly, in nature’s vast space. Crimson and amber, the sky wears a cloak, Painting the canyon, where silence bespoke. The canyon, a canvas, aglow with delight, As day bids adieu, surrendering to night. Gold drapes the horizon, a warm, fleeting glow, In the heart of the canyon, true beauty will show. With each breath of dusk, the world holds its breath, In the splendor of twilight, where day meets its death.
Currents of Stories
In the hush of night beneath the starry veil, Migrants whisper tales in the river's gentle wail. The Rio Grande flows, a lifeline and a seam, Threads of hope and courage stitched in a dream. From distant shores they come, their burdens vast, Carrying the echoes of a long-buried past. Each current speaks of journeys, of hearts that brave, The rapids of tomorrow, the memories they pave. With every ripple sings a story untold, Of desire for freedom, of the brave and bold. Through banks of mud and struggle, they tread, Their lives intertwine like a riverbed. So let the waters carry their voices wide, For in the flow of the Rio, their truths abide. With every splash, a legacy unfolds, In currents of stories, their resilience molds.
