Elegy of Shadows
In twilight's grasp, a whisper sighs, Where beauty dances ‘neath the weeping skies. Amidst the thorns, where roses fade, A haunting rhyme in darkness laid. Beneath the pallor of the waning moon, The heart finds solace in its somber tune. Each shadow woven with threads of pain, Yet in that sorrow, beauty reigns. With every breath, a ghostly art, The allure of gloom that tugs the heart. In silent graves, where secrets sleep, The darkest dreams these echoes keep. So cherish the night, where whispers dwell, In Gothic tales, the soul's farewell. For in the void, where mourners tread, Lies beauty stark, where love is dead.
Whispers of the Woods
In moonlit glades where shadows creep, Silent screams in whispers seep, Through ancient trees with gnarled embrace, Lies the sorrow of a lost place. Roots entwined in secrets old, Echoes of hearts once brave, now cold, Their stories woven in the breeze, Murmurs bound to the weary leaves. Gothic dreams beneath the night, Midnight's dance, a ghostly flight, Among the branches, spirits stream, Lost in the depth of a waking dream.
