Whispers of the Wood
Old wood beneath my fingers weeps,
In cracked grain, a history keeps,
Once alive in tangled boughs,
Now strummed beneath the solemn vows.
Each note a breath of time long past,
A melody of shadows cast,
Echoes of laughter, love, and tears,
Dance like spirits across the years.
The fretboard holds a heart's refrain,
A saga wrought in joy and pain,
From gentle strum to fierce command,
It tells the tales of a thousand hands.
In every chord, a life unfolds,
A tapestry of dreams retold,
So let the music rise and soar,
For old wood tells of evermore.
Strings of Reverie
In twilight's embrace, where shadows play,
A guitarist wanders, lost in the sway.
His fingers dance lightly on strings of old,
Each note like a secret, each chord like gold.
The world fades away, a dream woven wide,
As melodies swirl like the ocean's tide.
In echoes of soft light, his heart takes flight,
A symphony’s whisper, a lullaby's night.
Through valleys of sound and hills of delight,
He weaves through the silence, that spark ignites.
In this daydream, wild, where the spirit can roam,
He finds in each strum, he’s never alone.
