Cat's Counsel
In a sunbeam sprawled, my cat does lay, With whiskers twitching, he holds sway. I ponder plans, both grand and meek, But his green eyes simply blink, not speak. 'Plan A, Plan B, what's all the fuss?' He yawns and rolls, without a fuss. To him, my worries are small and absurd, For the world spins on, each day undeterred. I plot my path through numbers and strife, But to my feline, it’s all just life. He chases dust motes, naps with ease, In his wise, aloof ways, he finds his peace. So I toss my plans, no judgment he casts, In the kingdom of cats, all worries are past. For though I wrangle my future with plight, It’s his nonchalance that makes it all right!
Plan B: The Feline Solution
In a world where keys like to hide, I thought I’d take a quick little ride. But lo and behold, my pockets were bare, Just me and my cat, in a bit of despair. With a sigh and a shrug, I called out her name, Her whiskers a-twitchin’, she'd soon stake her claim. She strutted on over, with a flick of her tail, As if to say, "Human, you surely will fail!" In a pile of cushions, I spotted a gleam, Was it hope shining brightly, or just a mad dream? From the depths of her lair, she sprang like a pro, Out came my lost keys, in quite the grand show! So next time you lose, don’t hit panic or stress, Just call for your cat, they’ll handle the mess! They may seem aloof, with their prancing and play, But when it comes to keys, they're the real MVPs of the day!
Culinary Catastrophe
In the kitchen, I took my stand, Whisking dreams with a hopeful hand. Pasta boiling, a sight to behold, Not quite the feast that I had foretold. An onion cries, the garlic danced, As smoke swirled in, my hopes advanced. The timer beeped, a chirp of despair, The smoke alarm cheered, with flair to spare. Plan B emerged, a pizza in sight, Baked with love, a culinary fight. With laughter we dined, on store-bought delight, While the smoke alarm hummed through the night.
