Echoes of the Deep
Upon the waves where silence drips, The sea weeps for the ship’s last breath. Her timbers groan as darkness grips, Cradled now in the arms of death. Once proud, she danced 'neath sunlit skies, Her sails unfurled, her spirit free. Now whispers haunt where seabird cries, A requiem for the lost at sea. With every swell, the memories wane, Of laughter shared and journeys bold, Yet in this grave of brine and pain, Her tales are kept, forever told. So weep, O sea, for what has passed, For dreams adrift on tides of fate, In depths unknown and shadows cast, The wrecked shall find their solace great.
Whispers of the Deep
In the cradle of the brine, it sleeps, A vessel worn by time's relentless sway, Where moss, like secrets, softly creeps, Beneath the waves, in shadows it lay. Rusty dreams, with barnacles adorned, Whisper stories to the curious tide, Of sailors’ laughs and lullabies mourned, In depths where memories quietly bide. Once it rode the storms, a brave heart bold, Now cradled soft in an ocean's embrace, Time weaves through the stories left untold, As moss-covered remnants of nature’s grace.
Cradled by Time
On a sunken vessel's weathered hull, Barnacles cling, their grip so full, Silent sentinels of battles fought, Cradling memories, the storms they brought. In brine and salt, they weave their tales, Of thunderous roars and tempest gales, Each crevice worn, a whispering sigh, Echoes of sailors who dared to fly. Draped in shadows, forgotten lands, Nature's embrace with gentle hands, The wrecked ship rests, yet life persists, In barnacle cradles, lost dreams twist.
