Fields of Gold
In whispers soft, the breezes play, Through fields of gold where sunbeams sway, A farmer’s hand, an echo’s grace, In harmony, they find their place. The golden grains, like woven dreams, Dance gently in the sunlight’s beams, Mom’s laughter lingers in the air, As winds remember her loving care. Each stalk a story, each seed a prayer, The vast expanse, her heart laid bare, With every sigh of earth and sky, She nurtures life, she will not die. For in the whispers through the fields, The strength of love forever yields, In corn and wheat, her spirit’s mold, A timeless bond in fields of gold.
Rising Sun, Rising Bread
In the heart of the kitchen, warmth takes hold, A symphony of flour, of stories untold. Yeast dances gently, in the bowl like a dream, As sunlight pours in, casting a golden beam. Her hands move with love, each knead a soft hush, Whispers of comfort in the afternoon rush. The scent of warm bread, a hug in the air, A promise of home, woven deep with care. Crusty and tender, with a smile, it spreads, Each slice holds a memory, each crumb gently treads. Oh, how the aroma of baking delights, A harvest of happiness, our hearts take flight.
