Whispers of Soles
Old shoes sit by the door,
Faded tales in each worn seam,
Whispers of journeys once soared,
And dreams that danced in moonlight's beam.
Cracked leather, a map of the past,
In every crease, a secret shared,
Steps taken, shadows cast,
Laughter echoing, love declared.
Once they walked through sunlit streets,
Now they rest in quiet grace,
Each scuff a memory, bittersweet,
Old shoes hold our sacred space.
Laces of Forever
In gentle knots, our laces tie,
A promise bound, as days pass by.
With every step, our hearts align,
Two paths embraced, in love's design.
Beneath the soles, our laughter glows,
Through highs and lows, together flows.
In every loop, a whisper shared,
In tangled threads, we're always paired.
So let us walk, through dusk and dawn,
With love's sweet lace, we carry on.
For in this dance, our souls renew,
Forever stitched, in love's own hue.
