The Grinch's Change of Heart
In the shadow of winter, where cold whispers dwell, A heart once so hardened began to rebel. From the depths of his cavern, a soft melody stirred, A chorus of laughter, a warmth unheard. Three sizes it swelled, as bright lights appeared, The Grinch found his joy, he once had so feared. With each beat of kindness, his spirit took flight, Transforming the darkness, igniting the light. For love is a magic, both wondrous and free, It melted the frost that had shrouded his glee. So here's to the Grinch, whose heart found its role, In the tapestry woven, of peace and of whole.
Max's Heart
In a snow-clad town where the Whos sing bright, Lived a faithful friend, by the firelight. Max, the soft pup with fur of pure gray, Stood by the Grinch through the uncaring fray. With a wagging tail and a heart full of gold, He braved every chill, he was brave, he was bold. Though the Grinch wore a frown, full of grumbles and fears, Max’s loyal love chased away all his sneers. Through mischief and mayhem, they plotted and schemed, Yet all of Max's intent was simply to dream. For in the Grinch’s cold heart, love quietly waits, Awakened by joy that his pup instigates. So here's to the dog, with his kindness profound, In the chill of the night, true loyalty's found. Max, forever the hero, for whom Christmas glows, His love like a lantern, wherever he goes.
