Whispers of the Rails
Rusty rails beneath the trees,
Hum the tales of bygone years.
With every creak, each gentle breeze,
Echoes of laughter, dreams, and fears.
Carriages lost to the dust of time,
Where youthful hearts once rode with glee.
The clatter of wheels, the rhythm of rhyme,
Now just a ghost of what used to be.
The past whispers softly through tangled vines,
In twisted metal, memories reside.
In shadows of twilight, nostalgia shines,
As the train of life takes its ride.
Echoes of Innocence
In the tangled woods of youth, we ride,
On a train of dreams, where memories abide.
With laughter like the whistle, sweet and clear,
We chase the sun, our hearts devoid of fear.
Each jolt and sway on the tracks of delight,
Echoes of joy spark in the fading light.
Through the windows, our giggles rise and soar,
Childhood's laughter, forever we adore.
As seasons change and the train rolls on,
The laughter lingers, though the years are gone.
In the heart's own station, it waits in line,
For the next soul's journey, with love it will shine.
