Seaweed Serenade
Oh, behold the lazy green diva, Resting proud in the sun's warm embrace, With tendrils like whispers, she sways in the breeze, A salty queen in her briny space. "Oh, how I toil beneath the waves, While you bask in golden rays, Such noble work I do, you see, Yet here you are, in a sunbeam's haze!" She flicks a frond, in mock disdain, "I’m the ocean's glam, you know my name! While fish do flips and currents race, I lounge in luxury—it's quite the game!" So rise and fall, dear waves of blue, As she perches proudly, soaking the view. In every tide and sunlit gleam, The seaweed reigns—a lazy dream.
Salty Whispers of the Seaweed
Oh, look at you, with your tan lines and glee, With a cooler of snacks, what a sight to see! You trample on dunes, like it’s your own backyard, While I wave my green fronds, thinking, "How very hard!" Plastic and wrappers, they dance in my strands, A feast for the fish, or a plague, if they can. Your footprints are carved in my soft, sandy bed, Next time, bring a basket, and leave your trash dead! Suntan lotion glistens like oil on the waves, It's a party of filth, not the one that one saves. So dig up your treasures, and clean up your mess, My seaweed heart quivers, I'm giving a stress! Respect all my waters, respect this fine shore, I'll weave you a tale, if you open the door. But if you keep stomping, I'll toss you my shade, With a sprinkle of sarcasm, I’ll claim what you've made.
