Percussion of the Pines
Beneath the boughs where shadows lie,
A woodpecker taps, a lullaby.
With every beat, the forest sways,
A rhythmic pulse through sunlit haze.
Drumming deep on a hollow trunk,
A heart of wood, a wild funk.
Echoes dance through leaves above,
Nature's chorus, a song of love.
With every peck a story’s spun,
Of whispered winds and morning sun.
In the tranquil shade, the world finds peace,
As tree sounds hum, and all troubles cease.
Whispers of the Breeze
In twilight's hush, the leaves converse,
A symphony of whispers, an ancient verse.
Each rustle tells of stories long passed,
Echoes of roots that hold, yet never grasp.
With every sigh, the branches sway,
In tandem with the dawn of day.
Beneath the boughs, where shadows dance,
A secret world in nature's trance.
The breeze, a soft and tender breath,
Brings life to life, stirs thoughts of death.
Yet here among the oak and pine,
The whispers bloom, entwined divine.
