Storm's Embrace
On Texas plains, the thunder roars, A symphony of nature, fierce and grand, Storms gather 'neath the open doors, Of skies that stretch in dust and sand. Clouds twist like dancers, wrapped in gray, Whispers of rain begin their call, Lightning flashes, a bold display, While whispers of wind dare to enthrall. The earth inhales, a shudder deep, As droplets race from heavens wide, Nature's beauty fierce, alive, we'll keep, In the heart of storms where secrets bide. For in this chaos, life will thrive, And in the fury, the plains will sing, In Texas skies, the wildness strives, A testament to the fierce spring's wing.
Whispers of the Cacti
In the Texas plains where the shadows dance, Cacti sway gently, caught in a trance. With arms raised high to the wind’s soft song, They whisper secrets, where they belong. A jubilant sway beneath the sun’s embrace, Each spine a note in this wind-swept place. Tales of the desert, of drought and of rain, Shared in the rustle, joyful and plain. Oft in the twilight, as night starts to fall, Their silhouettes murmur, a soft, beckoning call. With the stars overhead, in their silent command, Cacti are dancing, in their whispered band.
