Embracing Me
In the mirror's gaze I find,
Reflections of a heart unconfined.
With flaws and dreams, all intertwined,
I’m learning to be boldly kind.
Whispers of doubt, they fade away,
As I dance to the beat of my own array.
No longer chained by what they say,
I wear my truth like a sunlit ray.
Curly hair and freckled skin,
Each imperfection, a tale within.
In every scar, a chance to win,
My journey’s start, let love begin.
Strength arises from the deep,
In acceptance, my soul I keep.
A teenage girl, not just to weep,
But bloom and rise, my spirit steep.
Dreams Unfettered
A heart aflame with thoughts untamed,
She dances through a world unclaimed.
Each dream a star, each laugh a song,
In twilight's glow, where hopes belong.
With wild abandon, she takes the leap,
Into the depths where shadows creep.
A tapestry of wishes spun,
With every step, a race begun.
Her eyes alight with visions grand,
Mapping paths by her own hand.
In dreams she soars, unbound by fate,
A teenage girl, she beats the gate.
