The Ruins of Pledged Hopes
In the ash of grandeur, silence falls, Each promise fractured, each echo calls. Once hopeful banners now tattered, worn, The dawn of doomsday, in shadows, sworn. He spoke of futures, of brighter days, Yet here we stand, in smoky haze. The kingdom crumbled, the throne decays, A presidency lost in a labyrinth of plays. Whispers of change turned to bitter wails, A tide of dread where ambition fails. Fingers point to the shattered skies, While ghosts of valor receding, lies. We gathered dreams in a fragile jar, But fate dealt hands that warped our star. Amidst the ruins, we sift through the grime, Innocent voices, begging for time.
Hope's Last Stand
In a barren land where shadows creep, Beneath the weight of promises unkept, A silence reigns, the world does not weep, For dreams lie scattered where the angels slept. The tyrant's words, like thunder, blast the air, As kingdoms crumble, visions fade to grey, Yet amidst the ruins, a flicker, a prayer, Hope clings to life, refusing to sway. With every heartbeat, embers start to glow, A spark of courage in the heart of despair, Together we rise from ashes low, To plant new seeds in defiance, we share. Eclipsed by night, but dawn will break our chains, In unity we forge through bleak terrains.
