The Shadow of the Apple
In twilight's hush, the whispers glide, A fragrance sweet, where secrets bide, Beneath the boughs, the shadows play, The curse of night in shades of gray. A ruby sheen on withered stem, The poisoned apple dreams condemn, Its lore weaves tales of love and strife, A lingering chill, a stolen life. Yet hope may bloom where darkness dwells, In hearts entwined, a magic swells. For even curses, though they bite, Can spark a dawn from bitter night.
Whispers on Bark
In the hush of winter's breath, Fingers trace tales, spun from death. Upon the bark, where secrets lie, Forgotten stories, beneath the sky. Snowflakes dance in soft embrace, Kissing scars time can't efface. Each groove a whisper, each knot a sigh, Echoes of dreams that once soared high. Nature's canvas, etched in grace, Resilient love in a barren place. With every touch, the past unfurls, In the heart of winter, the magic swirls.
Echoes of the Wishing Well
Beneath the boughs where shadows weave, A wishing well, a heart’s reprieve, Its waters murmur sweet delight, Of dreams that dance in silver light. Each coin a hope, each wish a sigh, As whispered secrets dare to fly, In tender tones of love’s embrace, Reflections shining, time can't erase. So toss your fears, let yearnings swirl, For in this well, the heart’s flags unfurl, In echoes deep, let wishes swell, Where true love stirs—our wishing well.
