Whiskers and Wisdom
In the hush of night, when the moon takes flight, A possum named Wise shares tales wrapped in light. "Oh, gather 'round critters, let me spin you a yarn, Of mischievous raccoons and the glow of the barn!" He chuckled and winked, with a twitch of his ear, "Did I ever tell you of the time I drew near, To a feast of ripe apples, just hanging so low, But a goat with a grumble, oh, didn’t he blow!" With a hop and a skip, he danced on the grass, "While the goat grumbled loudly, I made my sly pass, Nibbled those apples, oh, sweet was the prize, But that goat’s indignant, you should see his eyes!" So wise little possum, with laughter in store, Spins his nocturnal tales, always leaving us wanting more. In the dark of the night, let his stories ignite, A twinkle of joy ‘neath the stars shining bright!"
The Acorn Jester
In the moonlit glow, a possum prances, With acorns aplenty, he takes his chances. Juggling them high, with a flick of his paw, He balances deftly, and takes a grand bow. Round and round, those acorns fly, As critters all gather, beneath the night sky. With a wink and a grin, the show’s now in tow, Our funny possum steals hearts with his flow.
Possum Serenade
Beneath the stars, a possum sings, With twinkling lights and playful flings. A furry bard in a midnight scene, Piping joy where shadows glean. His nose upturned, he strums the night, With laughter soft, in pure delight. A chirping chorus, the crickets play, As moonbeams dance in a waltz ballet. In a world of dreams, he winks and grins, With whimsy woven in his whimsical spins. Oh, to be a possum under the stars, Singing sweetly, forgetting our scars!
