Brushstrokes of Time
Upon the canvas of the day, Time's palette rests, a soft array. Each moment blank, a silent plea, A canvas wide, awaiting me. With whispers of a fate unknown, The brush begins, in hands it’s grown. Each choice, a color bold and bright, To weave the shadows into light. The strokes I make, both wide and thin, Compose the tale of where I’ve been. Yet with each mark, the future sways, As options dance in endless ways. So here I stand, with dreams in sight, Each moment waits, a spark of light. On Time’s vast canvas, I shall paint, With strokes of hope, both fierce and faint.
Moments of Choice
In the hush where silence prevails, I pause to ponder, where the path trails. Each choice a whisper, soft as the breeze, Moments intertwine, like leaves on the trees. What if I ventured, what if I stayed? A dance of decisions, in twilight, displayed. With each heartbeat, a chance to embrace, The echoes of futures, our lives interlace. Reflecting on echoes, of paths not yet worn, I cradle the moments, where dreams can be born. In the stillness, I cherish these thoughts, For life is a canvas of chances and knots.
Dreams in Open Hands
In open hands, the dreams reside, Like fragile birds, they long to hide. They flutter soft, escape the night, With whispers woven, hopes take flight. The tapestry of choice entwines, With golden threads and painted signs. In every grasp, a treasure lies, A world of wonder, vast as skies. Yet choice can bear a heavy heart, For where to start, where dreams depart? In each decision, shadows dance, But courage blooms in every chance. So let them flow, those dreams unbound, In open hands, let love be found. For though they wane like morning dew, In every grasp, they live anew.
