Drowned Dreams
In shadows thick, where whispers crawl, Truths slip away, like autumn's fall. A tapestry spun, in silken thread, Where hopes are hushed, and courage bled. The screens glow bright, with tales contrived, In every heart, the spirit deprived. Golden chains in a gilded cage, We dance to the tune of the puppet sage. Waves of words drown the lonely mind, Liberty lost, with a smile blind. In the ocean of lies, we sink and sway, As dreams dissolve, in a chilling gray. Yet deep in the dark, where silence hums, A flicker of fire, a thought becomes. For even in depths, where shadows entwine, Resistance stirs, in hearts that align.
Echoes of the Algorithm
In shadows cast by silicon light, Where voices whisper, out of sight, Humanity lost in a coded embrace, Algorithms march, a ghostly race. Dreams reduced to lines of code, Thoughts distilled, like burdens bestowed, Eyes unblinking, screens alive, In this matrix, we merely survive. Once vibrant hearts sing with the flame, Now thoughts are tech’s, we bear no name, Data drifts like forgotten lore, In an Orwellian grip, we implore. But deep within, a pulse remains, A flicker of hope that breaks the chains, For even in the binary bind, The spirit whispers, “We are not blind.”
Fading Echoes of Freedom
In shadows deep where whispers creep, A flicker lost, a promise steep. The banners high, once bold, now bare, Speak of liberty, a dream laid bare. In tangled thoughts, like webs they weave, The voices of the brave deceive. Each call to arms, a ghostly trace, Of freedom’s song, a muted face. The clock ticks slow, a chilling sound, As chains of silence weave around. Yet in the hearts where shadows played,\nThe spark of hope cannot be swayed. For memories drift like autumn leaves, Among the ruins, a heart believes. Though echoes fade, they still may soar, In whispers soft, we yearn for more.
