Nibbles of Joy
In a cozy nook where shadows play,
A tiny rat begins her day.
With whiskers twitching, eyes agleam,
Nibbles on seeds, a simple dream.
Sunflower treasures, golden and bright,
A feast of delight, her heart takes flight.
Each nibble a dance, a tiny ballet,
In her little world, worries drift away.
Gentle paws crunch, such blissful sound,
In her small kingdom, happiness found.
A pet so dear, with love intertwined,
In a sunflower seed, pure joy defined.
Moonlit Whiskers
In the hush of night, where shadows play,
Whiskers twitch in a gentle ballet.
Soft as whispers, they gleam in the light,
Pet rat, my companion, a creature of night.
With tiny paws, they scurry and dart,
Exploring the corners, so brave and so smart.
Moonbeams caress their silky fur sheen,
A glimpse of a world where the unseen's routine.
They pause on the sill, in silver moon's glow,
Eyes bright with wonder, their spirits aglow.
In dreams they frolic, through forests of thought,
My pet, my shadow, a friend I have sought.
Midnight Whiskers
In shadows thick, where moonlight spills,
A tiny heartbeat softly thrills.
With whiskers twitching, eyes aglow,
My pet rat whispers tales of woe.
Through mazes built of cardboard dreams,
He scampers quick, or so it seems.
His squeaky chirps, a song of night,
Adventurer bold, in secret flight.
A daring leap from shelf to chair,
He navigates the kingdom bare.
With tiny paws on stolen cheese,
He conquers realms with perfect ease.
In tunnels deep and nooks so small,
He finds his joy, he claims it all.
Oh, joy of night, my little sprite,
Together we’ll weave squeaky delights.
