Veil of Whispers
In the cradle of the mountain's breath,
A shroud of white, a ghostly rest,
Fog drapes the peaks, a silken caress,
Whispers of dawn in a soft-draped dress.
Veiling the rocks in a tender embrace,
Silent secrets in the fog's quiet space,
The world hushed down, in a cloudy trace,
Time floats away at nature's pace.
Glimmers of sunlight fight to appear,
Through gauzy layers, indistinct yet near,
Each moment held in the moist atmosphere,
A dance of shadows, the heart feels clear.
So here I stand, in this vaulted dream,
Where earth meets sky in a misty seam,
The mountain breathes in a gentle stream,
And I lose myself in its softest gleam.
Veil of Mist
A whisper drapes the mountains high,
As fog descends from a shadowed sky.
It blankets peaks in a shrouded sigh,
And softens the earth as the daylight dies.
Mystery cloaked in a silken gray,
The trees breathe deep, in a secret ballet.
With each silent step, the world fades away,
Wrapped in the dream of the mist's soft sway.
Echoes of whispers where silence reigns,
The soul finds solace in the hushed remains.
In the fog’s embrace, all fear refrains,
As time stands still in the phantom chains.
