Cookies are baking, a warm, sweet trace,
Ginger and sugar in harmony blend,
As scents of cinnamon dance and extend.
The oven hums softly, a comforting tune,
Filling the kitchen, bright as the moon,
Flour dust settles like fresh fallen snow,
A sprinkle of joy in the warmth that we know.
Each doughy creation, a smile in the making,
A sweet, simple pleasure, our hearts overtaking,
Gathered together, with laughter and cheer,
'Tis the season of magic, our favorite time of year.
Under the Stardust
Beneath the velvet, starry dome,
Carols dance like whispers, sweet and true,
In every heart a cozy home,
Where love ignites the frosty view.
Snowflakes twirl, a shimmering lace,
Voices blend in harmonious flight,
As laughter fills the sacred space,
We share the warmth of Christmas night.
