Whispers Over Waves
In tempest's grip, the shadows sway,
A howling gale, the skies turn gray.
Yet through the veil of stormy night,
Steps forth the One, our true delight.
With steadfast gaze, He meets the fray,
The raging sea must yield its sway.
'Fear not,' He breathes, 'for I am near,'
And in His voice, the darkness clears.
The waves retreat, their fury tamed,
By whispered truths and love proclaimed.
For darkness fears the light divine,
That walks on waters, pure and fine.
Peace in the Tempest
In the howling winds, the waters roar,
A weary heart strains to see the shore.
But amidst the chaos, a voice so clear,
‘Be still, my child, for I am near.’
Storms may rage and shadows fall,
Yet in His love, we find our all.
Through trials fierce and doubts that cling,
He whispers hope, our hearts take wing.
For every tempest that threat'ns our calm,
He holds us close, a gentle balm.
In faith we stand, though storms encroach,
With Jesus near, our fears approach.
Serenity in the Storm
In the midst of a raging sea,
Waves crash, wild and free,
A voice speaks soft, yet strong,
Gentle words where storms belong.
Turbulence swirls like haunting ghosts,
Yet faith remains, the anchor most;
Through chaos loud and doubts that swarm,
He whispers peace, the eye, the calm.
Serenity echoes, clear and bright,
In the fury, He is the light;
When tempests rise and hopes seem dim,
Trust in His grace, let hearts not swim.
