Tempest Within
Emotions spill, a stormy sea,
Whispers roar like winds that plead,
Clouds of doubt in darkened skies,
Yet in chaos, truth defies.
Swirling thoughts like tempest's dance,
Heartbeats race in wild romance,
Thunder rumbles, tears will fall,
In the storm, I find my call.
Lightning strikes with blinding light,
Illuminates the depths of night,
From the turmoil, strength is born,
In the winds, my spirit's worn.
So let the storms of feeling sway,
For in the tempest, I find my way,
With every gust, I feel my soul,
In the chaos, I become whole.
Inked Memories
In the margins of a traveler's book,
Lie fragments of moments, overlooked.
Whispers of laughter, scent of the rain,
Captured in ink, though time slips away.
A child's first step on cobbled streets,
Sunset hues where the old world meets.
Pages worn thin, each line a trace,
Of fleeting laughter, of love's embrace.
The scent of spices in twilight's glow,
A dance in the moonlight, a soft hello.
Each word a beacon, a flickering flame,
In the carnet's heart, forever the same.
Margins of Memory
In a carnet bound by whispers, lost,
Dreams wander in shadows, at what cost?
Scribbles in margins, where thoughts entwine,
Faded ink trails lead where the heart aligns.
Each line a fragment, a wish brushed aside,
Ghosts of ambitions in silence abide.
The margins grow crowded with echoes of hope,
In the pages of possibility, we learn to cope.
Though dreams may be scattered, like stars in the night,
In the corners of paper, they shimmer with light.
For every lost vision that dances away,
New dreams are born, as night turns to day.
